Independent software for independent artists

What we gain by building slowly, staying close to artists, and choosing our own path.

Building independently changes the questions a team can ask. Instead of optimizing for rapid expansion, we can focus on whether the product is genuinely useful to the people making music with it.

That creates room for quieter priorities: privacy that is not traded away later, support that stays close to the builders, and a product that can become sustainable without becoming invasive.

Close to the work

The best decisions come from watching real creative workflows rather than inventing an abstract version of them. Artists do not need more software demanding attention. They need tools that respect the pace and uncertainty of making something new.

Independent by choice is not a claim that everything should stay small. It is a commitment to let the needs of the work remain louder than the needs of the company.
